These are wonderful! I'm with CatsaiMeow - I would really love to see your take on an historically accurate Aurora (she and Megara are my faves)

Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed them!  You should check out Buzzfeed's historically accurate princesses - that's what originally inspired my series, but I thought they already did a great job with their version of Aurora. :)

I adore historical fashion! Love what you did here.
How did you decide on the individual time periods? In-movie setting, in story setting or the time the original story was published? Mixture of all?

Also, since Disney took a lot of inspiration from the Brothers' Grimm Collection, there's a lot of fashion from my homeland here. ; )

Thank you!  For most of the movies, I tried to pick the time period based on the movie's actual text or storyline.  (I pretty much ignored the original fairytales inspiring the film, unless I was completely lost.)

For instance, with Moana, the fashion is obviously a blend of Maori and Hawaiian influences - but that couldn't work for her movie because the storyline explicitly states it took place 2000-3000 years ago before those islands were settled!  And with Tangled, the filmmakers said it was set in the 1780s, even though none of the visual design matched that period.  So for my series, I re-designed their outfits based on the period the film was *supposed* to take place, instead of looking at the outfits as they were in the movie and trying to find a historical counterpart.  I hope that makes sense!
