Description
For the beginning of the new year I've decided to start a new mini-series of fashions, but this time around I am going to focus on my Fooled story and redesign the wardrobe of the kingdom's reigning fashionista, Princess Lucia!
When I was working on the Fooled story I realized that Lucia needed a simple dress to wear when she's thrown out of her element, and fashion is the last thing on her mind. I designed this dress for one of the illustrations in 2014. Since Fooled is very obviously a Disney knockoff I based this gown on the "work" dresses often worn by the heroines - but I wanted to keep it a little fancy so it could be something a fashionable princess like Lucia would logically own. Her modest updo was also partially inspired by Italian hairdos like this one. In the Fooled novel, Lucia wears this dress through chapters 10, 11, and 14.
Don't miss the rest of Lucia's wardrobe:

I must say that this is pretty inspirational (as you stated in the description). ^.^
The flat colours you implemented both on Lucia and her dress are simple, but very authentic with what theme and approach you took to make this.
Lovely work with the image btw!~
