Classic Disney Movies Collab: Aladdin (#31)

This is my entry for 's Classic Disney Movies Collaboration!  I wasn't a member on DeviantArt the last time they did this collaboration, so I'm glad I got to participate this time around, it's such a fun idea!  To celebrate the Walt Disney canon films, everyone signs up to draw a square representing a particular movie.  I was very excited to get Aladdin, since it was one of my favorite movies when I was a 90s kid.  It took me a few attempts to settle on the design for my square. I tried to get creative a couple of times with no success, so instead I decided to really think about the movie and what parts are my favorite.  My actual favorite scene is the finale of the movie, I love the vivid purple colors and especially Aladdin and Jasmine's costumes - in fact I really wish there was more merchandise for those particular outfits, they are the best!  I also like how Genie trolls the audience by appearing as the moon - I obviously attempted a likeness of Robin Williams there, since I'm still not over his death 3 years ago this month.
